Voluntary closure requests under APY

With reference to the aforementioned subject, we understand that there are requests from subscribers to the respective APY SPs for voluntary closure of their APY account.

n this regard, as advised by PFRDA, you are requested to ensure stopping of Standing Instruction/Direct Debit from the subscriber’s bank account immediately on receipt of closure request from the subscriber.

The detailed process on voluntary closure under APY would be informed by PFRDA in due course.
