Letter to Circle secretary on long pending issues by Ch.Lenin Babu,D/S,BVRM Dn.

Sub:- Submission of long pending issues – request for pursue at Appropriate level - reg.


   This is regarding request for pursuance of long pending issues with appropriate authority. In spite of repeated requests, so many important issues are still unsettled. Some of the following issues are bringing into your kind notice for pursuance.

1.Supply of computer chairs:- 

This item was placed in the monthly meeting and brought into the kind notice of the Hon’ble Director Postal Services, Vijayawada Region on their official visit to Bhimavaram in the month of October 2016. The Hon’ble D.P.S has directed the divisional authorities to form Local Purchase committees and submit proposals for approval of Regional office.  Circle secretary,AIPEU Group’C has also written a letter to the Hon’ble Postmaster General,Vijayawada Region on 23.03.2016 (Copy enclosed ). But, no action has been taken so far.

2.Abnormal delay in shifting of Post Offices:- Abnormal delay in processing of building matters causes unwillingness to the land lords who offered premises for post office. Postmasters are in perplexing situation to answer the existing land lords and the persons who newly offered their premises for post offices regarding progress and status of the issue. Shifting and extension of lease deed matters are taking month and years for settlement.
Ex:- A) Vissakoderu:- Tenders floated on 15.5.2014. Even after completion of 3 years, issue was not finalized. Office was shifted from Vissakoderu village to Bhimavaram H.O. due to delay in meeting FRAC.
B) Rayakuduru:- New land lord submitted his willingness in the month of April 2016. But, no further progress in this case. FRAC has to met immediately, otherwise land lord may withdraw his willingness because he is expressing very much dissatisfaction on this abnormal delay.
C) Palakoderu:- Lease deed was expired 3 years back and land lord applied for enhancement of FHR. Since, no action has been taken by the administration, now the land lord is demanding to vacate the premises immediately.

3.Denial of MACP:- MACP-II as not granted by the administration to the following officials.

1.Com.K.Venkateswara Rao, SPM, Sreerampuram S.O.
2.Com.L.Sanjeeva Rao, P.A., Bhimavaram H.O,
3.Com.P.V.V.L.Sandhya Rani, P.A., Bhimavaram H.O
4.Com.N.Srinivasa Murthy, P.A., Bhimavaram H.O.
5.Com.G.Eswari Kumari, S.P.M.,Tanuku Bazaar S.O.
6.Com.Ch.Nageswara Rao, P.A., Palakol H.O.
7.Com.Ch.Narayana Murthy, SPM, Royapeta. S.O.

MACP-III was not granted to the officials.

1.Com.M.Churchil, P.A., Tanuku H.O.
2.Com.Md.Salaruddin, SPM, Venkatarayapuram.

4. Non-Providing service support to the Technical Units:- 

Since, constant technical  support  i.e. AMC is not in force, officials are facing lot of troubles to work with Computers, Printers, UPS systems and Generators. Many post offices are located in rural areas where service support is generally not available. Hence, constant technical support is need of the hour. Outdated Computers and printers are to be replaced immediately.

5.Inadequate technical trainings:- 

Consequent on implementation of CBS, RICT, McCamish and CSI, various trainings are imparting in local training centers without any required preparations. Training servers are not accessing in maximum number of days during training sessions. The purpose of imparting training will be defeated if the training server and net work connections are not adequately accessible. Submissions and requests in this regard by trainees are turning to deaf ear and training sessions are simply passing through.
